BIOGRAPHY
Don Bridges has an acting career spanning nearly forty years with many varied roles in film, television and theatre in Australia, USA and the UK. Film credits include: Troll Bridge, The Ballad of Des and Mo, The Tender Hook, Charlotte's Web, Oyster Farmer, Gettin' Square, The Hard Word, Sensitive New Age Killer, Road to Nhill, Romper Stomper, Evil Angels (A Cry in the Dark), Malcolm and Amy. Television credits include: Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, Tangle, McLeod’s Daughters, Blue Heelers, Flying Doctors, Fast Lane, All The Rivers Run, Carsons Law, Prisoner (Cell Block H), Neighbours, The Sullivans, My Brother Tom, Stark, Bligh, Man From Snowy River, Raw FM, Shirl’s Neighbourhood and State Coroner amongst many others. Theatre credits cover everything from Shakespeare to Children's Theatre to Musicals with companies such as Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC), HIT Productions, Playbox, Unicorn Theatre London, Round Earth Company, Melbourne’s La Mama, Victorian Arts Centre, Magnormos and performing open-air Shakespeare with Essential Theatre Company. In addition to his acting work, Don has also maintained a successful voice-over career and taught at various arts institutions such as The Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne University, Victoria University, The Arts Academy Ballarat and The National Theatre.
